Dueling Fireplace Built-in Cabinets

One of our main goal when making and designing for your home is to make sure our pieces fit the style, look and motif of the home and work with the home owner or a designer to make their vision work structurally and soundly. For example the designer wanted an industrial solid beam to be the countertop/mantel for the this project to match an existing rustic architectural feature in the kitchen. So we took idea and made it work for us without losing the look they were seeking. Solid wood over time moves, shrinks, and expands over time while plywood cabinets do not and the last thing any of want is to see movement. So to avoid future trouble we engineered the countertop/mantel by cutting our own veneer and laying it up and cabinet grade plywood. Problem solving to come up with the correct solution is one of out most important tasks when working with our clients.
