A Little Bit About Us…
My parents, Robb and Tish, started this business in 1980, in Hawaii. They took their passion for woodworking and made it their own. They started out by doing craft fairs and shows to get their name out there, their goal was to eventually do bigger furniture pieces instead of jewelry boxes and other small items. After a few years of grinding and hustling , they developed and client base and with word of mouth they stayed busy doing heirloom quality furniture for people all over the world.
Our shift to doing kitchens, bathroom, and other custom cabinetry happened suddenly when our longtime client came to us wanting us to do his kitchen. We informed him we don’t do kitchen and his response of “you do now” changed the trajectory of our mom and pop high end custom furniture shop to a family owned and operated custom cabinetry and woodworking shop. We did his kitchen in Hawaii and when we made the decision to move to Washington in 2015 he contacted us to make and design his kitchen for his home on the mainland.
This shift in the business’ direction suited my strengths of spacial organizational design and making it aesthetically to the eye. My name is Daniel and I’m Robb and Tish’s son. I took over the business shortly after we moved the company up to Washington state right outside of Gig Harbor in the small town of Olalla. I grew up pretty much living at the shop, making things and getting dirty. Every project for school was made at shop and every summer I would work for my parent and by the time I graduated from college I started working there full time. My wife Heidi and I welcomed out first child in 2022 and we look forward to giving him the same childhood memories I had growing up in a wood shop getting dirty and creating.
Thank you for your time and if you have a kitchen or woodworking project you need done, we’d love to help you make your idea a reality. So feel free to contact us and we look forward to hearing from you.
